Beauty- a combination of qualities that pleases the aesthetic sense, especially sight.
Even though we all have different opinions on what constitutes something as beautiful, we can all agree that it is a desirable trait. I think it is safe to say that all women want to feel beautiful in some way. Sometimes, all it takes is your daily morning routine to feel this way. Other times, it may be a compliment you received, or capturing that one perfect selfie. But of course, because of the way our society is setup, we may be prone to forget our own natural beauty. This is something we all already have, not something we have to figure out how to obtain or add to ourselves.
I know that for me, personally, I have to at least make myself somewhat presentable to really feel beautiful to the eye that day. I was taught to never leave the house without taking a shower and brushing my teeth. So when I became old enough to wear makeup and go out to do things on my own, I made a point to make sure I left the house looking presentable, at the very least. Not everyone constitutes the same thing as beautiful.
For example, I am utterly shocked, still to this day, when my boyfriend turns to me first thing in the morning when we wake up to tell me how beautiful I look. To me (in my eyes) I look crazy! My hair's everywhere, I have gunk in the corner of my eyes, and my lips are crusty- but this boy is telling me I'm so beautiful that he can't get over it! I guess that just goes to show how love transcends all things. But not only that- beauty is more than meets the eye; it is something we were all born with. And sometimes, others will rediscover it when we thought it was lost; it was there all along.
